Inspiration 4 this post came from this video I recently saw and
that made quite an impression on me. In my opinion it's cool since it teaches
several valuable lessons – firstly, it shows that 1st impression in not necessarily
d right 1. It also plays with our superficial judgments that all of us tend 2
create about others, leading us 2 wrong conclusion, more or less frequently and
with more or less serious outcomes. In this case, it’s classic underdog
story with a little twist.
Different forms of underdogs r all around us
and we should be thankful 4 this. Without them world will be full of “seemingly
perfect clones” who strive 2 live up 2 some predictable or sometimes even
boring standard most of d ppl r fed up with. Underdogs r uniquely different and they should 1st
identify their “uniqueness card” and then play it smartly in order 2 utilize
all d benefits it brings. The truth is that underdogs start from a quite low
entry position, but they also possess d valuable “element of surprise” which
could be often used in their advantage, as shown in this video. If
used correctly, sky is d limit.
D idea behind this is not 2 force yourself 2
become sth u’re not, but rather 2 b yourself just d way u r, with all your
perfect imperfections. Easier said than done many would say, but it’s actually
very simple. Many of us let our own
insecurities or imperfections 2 overpower our obvious strengths all of us
possess. D simple truth here is that everybody simply see/treat u d same way
u see/treat yourself. The word “imperfection” actually says it all – it
should actually be spelled “I’mPerfection”.
This leads us 2 logical conclusion that only
continuous self-improvement is d way 2 go. Self-improvement represents
different things 2 different ppl and it being d never ending job is what
gives it all d beauty. Most of us probably feel like underdogs @
certain moments of our lives or in certain activities we perform, which is
perfectly ok, since it enables us 2 explore our limits better and identify d focus areas 4 further development.
If u
don’t see yourself as underdog, that’s also great – in this case be sure 2
accept others who r anyhow different, underprivileged or might need your
assistance. As an underdog, always be proud of who u r and make sure 2 be d
best version of yourself. In other words, be sure 2 be d Alpha Underdog.
Cheers and….raise your glass if u r wrooong
in all d right waaays….!
