Category: REPEAT
Few ppl already approached me with a remark that I
might seem 2 optimistic from time 2 time. In such cases I often ask them
"What's d alternative?". Maybe apathy, pessimistic view that nothing
could/will be changed, jumping of d bridge...u name it : /
In my opinion, d only healthy alternative 2 optimism
may be realism. But still optimism is my 1st choice. @ d end, little "optimism
overdose" never did something bad 2 anybody - even some studies show that
optimistic ppl live longer. More importantly, I believe they live happier
and/or healthier lives.
Many ppl often forget they have a choice - freedom 2
think toughs they like. Bombarded with negativity
all around us, some of us unintentionally fall in d "circle of negative
toughs", which might be triggered/emphasized by d tough situation(s)
around us. If practiced repeatedly such behavior may consequently result in
potentially dangerous outcomes. Similarly
2 d well known fact that "u'r what u eat", I believe "u'r
what u think of" also applies. In simple words, positive thinking will
attract more positivism and vice versa. Why happiness or prosperity can't be
perceived simply as a result of repeating d right choices all over again. And
surrounding yourself with positivism is surely your choice, same as u'r d only
1 to blame 4 thinking negative toughs all over again.
Some ppl would argue that life simply doesn't treat
them fairly and that others always seem 2 be luckier than they r. I simply
couldn't disagree more. In my opinion, we all r dealt with more or less d same
amount of "luck" which may be differently distributed in time, but
all our life outcomes r simply result of good or bad choices/actions
we've made. "Destiny" has very little 2 do with it, it's much
more about how successful u dust yourself off every time u fall.
Some things in life u simply can't plan or predict
(and that's d beauty of it), but most of crucial things r in your control. So be careful
what u think of, who u surround yourself with and trust YOUR choices.
Because if u don't make a choice 4 u, be sure some1 else will do it 4 u and in this case it might not put a smile on your face. In any case, u would be surprised how powerful a
single smile could be. Either as a sign of your "contagious optimism"
that ones who genuinely care about u will cherish or as sth that will simply
annoy or puzzle others :)
